Today’s cocktail was mixed up by East Hampton’s Georgica Restaurant and Lounge (108 Wainscott Stone Road, 631-537-5603) in honor of ex-governor Sara Palin’s tenuous grasp on Alaska’s ethics laws. Apparently she thought they apply just to moose. Palin’s Dubious Ethics 2 oz. Absolut Apeach vodka 1 oz. fresh peach purée 1 oz. Perrier Jouët Grand Brut champagne Splash of grenadine Add Absolut Apeach and peach pur’e to a chilled champagne glass. Top with champagne and grenadine.
