A sun-touched glow seems to make skin more attractive, warmer, and look more alive. Some people go to great lengths and expense to achieve this summer accessory. He has a huge scar on his side from where he had to have skin cancer removed years ago. It was caused by over exposure to the sun summer after summer when he was growing up. The best way to avoid skin cancer it to avoid over exposure to the sun especially tanning salons. Here are some tips that I use for applying sunless tanner with making it look streaky and spotted: Exfoliate your skin in the shower prior to applying the product Do not shave directly before applying Apply after getting out of the shower on dry skin Do not wear clothes while applying, or wear tight dark clothing that you do not care if it gets messed up Use a lotion of your choice to aid in even application, especially around the ankles, knees, elbows, and hair line Wash your hands IMMEDIATELY after application, or else the insides of your fingers will be a nice, dark brown Do not get dressed for at least 30 minutes after application Most self-tanners will last for about a week, so to ensure suitable maintenance re-apply the product about twice weekly.
