Adrienne Lofton is the Senior Marketing Director at Under Armour. She played volleyball at Howard University and then worked her way up from being an intern at Gap, to positions at GM and Target, to where she is now. I interviewed her as she took a break from the "Protect this House" shoot in Denver and asked about what it's like to work at Under Armour, the challenges she's faced as a woman in her career, how being an athlete has served her, and who her mentors and favorite female athletes are.

Lofton also gives her advice to young women embarking on their career, and she is candid about fighting for female athletes to be represented well in the "masculine" world of sports marketing.
