Lunafest Coming to the NY Area on May 23rd
For those uninitiated, Lunafest is a short film festival by and about women founded in 2000 by the folks that bring you Luna bars. It’s a traveling festivals and appears in communities across the country hosted by different organizations. You can find out where it is playing here. The event is for a great cause. 100 percent of all proceeds are donated to charity – 15 percent to the Breast Cancer Fund and the remaining 85 percent of proceeds go directly back to hosting community organizations. This year’s festival in the NYC area will be in Brooklyn on May 23rd at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange hosted by Mamasphere Events a company that serves to empower, enrich and enlighten moms at all ages and stages.
