Sarah Palin Follows the White House on Twitter, But the White House Does Not Follow Sarah Palin
Photo by Lonerockalex/Wikipedia.Introducing Friend or Follow, arguably the most uncomfortable addition to Twitter since whatever Spencer Pratt last tweeted. The gist of the program is fairly self-evident: typing in one’s username on friendorfollow.com will reveal a list of tweeters who are not interested in, or simply don’t value, your enthusiasm for their pith. Before any moralistic smugness sets in, click on the “fans” tab. This function will display a list of people who follow you but whom you don’t follow back. (There is solace only in the “friends” section, which lists all reciprocal relationships.) We plugged the usernames of some of Twitter’s best-known fans into FriendorFollow to see if we could spot the evidence of any unknown feuds. |
