Bill O’Reilly and Jennifer Aniston are now in a public feud. (In case you had any bets riding on whether/when this match-up would come to fruition, now is the time to collect.) In conjunction with her new film about sperm donation and pregnancy, Aniston made a few comments about the benefits of artificial insemination. “Women are realizing it more and more, knowing that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child,” she said. O’Reilly simply did not care this. After all, what of men? “Dads bring a psychology to children that is in this society, I believe, under-emphasized,” O’Reilly argued, misusing several, if not most, of the words in the sentence but still sufficiently under-emphasizing the psychology of his point in this society. In response, Aniston allowed that while “the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age,” many women have “not yet found their Bill O’Reilly.” Winner: all? none? In any event, the entire exchange struck us as exceptionally strange, even for the professionally pugnacious O’Reilly. However, an analysis of the annals of O’Reilly feuds revealed that there have been far more bizarre battles than the Great Aniston–Artificial Insemination Deliberations of 2010.
