Jennifer Aniston is not destructive to our society

A big Friday fuck you to Bill O’Reilly for calling Jennifer Aniston destructive to our society and diminishing the role of dads when making comments in promotion of her new film The Switch.

The film is about a woman who decides to get pregnant with a sperm donor and it turns out her best friend played by Jason Bateman switched the sperm when he knocked over the donor’s deposit. (Don’t they do these things in a doctor’s office and not a bathroom while you are giving an I’m going to get pregnant party?)

It’s no secret to anyone who follows Hollywood that Aniston has talked about having kids of her own.  The press likes to paint her as the sad, lonely single girl waiting to find Mr. right to make her babies.

I’m sure she’s not sad or lonely, and who knows maybe the time will come for her to have a baby on her own.

That’s her decision.  It’s called freedom.  She’s got enough money.  Maybe she’ll adopt, maybe she’ll get IVF.  Who fucking cares.  It’s not of our goddam business.

And power to Aniston for responding to O’Reilly with the following statement via People Magazine:

Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth. And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who’ve not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.

I really think that there are plenty of other things that are destructive to our society Mr. O’Reilly.   Let’s think about some of them that might benefit from your cracker jack investigative reporting: poverty, the crumbling education system, racism, sexism, the wars, the economy…I could go on and on.

Get a fucking life.
