A Warning: The 2011 True E-Book Challenge Story

Thanks to Juju at Tales of Whimsy, I’ve joined a challenge! If you haven’t heard of it (or more rightly, guessed) it’s the 2011 E-Book Challenge which is totally right up my alley.

A lot of the freebies on Amazon are romance novels. And I personally like to read them. Especially when I was in my book slump they were the only thing I could read. They’re like soap operas of the literary world except, you know, erotic. Anyway, point of that analogy was that no matter where you stopped at, or how long ago you stopped reading a romance novel you can always pick it back up and know where the story is at! They’re simple, sometimes fun, a hoot because they can be downright ridiculous, and give you fuzzie feelings when the book has heart.

OK, so you might be asking, “what does this have to do with the blog?” Well, fellow readers, when I started this blog I thought I would try and keep those romance novels that I deemed lacking in substance off limits from my site. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. With this new challenge you’ll be seeing A LOT of romance reviews up and, I’m not going to lie here, most of them will probably be bad. So thanks for sticking with me even through the not so great reviews and who knows? Some of the romance books might surprise you [me]!
