Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris Opens the Cannes Film Festival

After a somewhat lackluster 2010, Thierry Frémaux and company seem to have caught Sarkozy’s fever to flex French muscle, stacking this year’s schedule heavily toward art films. First up is Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris (featuring Carla Bruni-Sarkozy), which opens the festival tonight. |
